Challengers, if you have a system that works for you nutrition-wise, live your lives. If you’re seeking a bit more guidance, feel free to get into the Californian or New Yorker.

The Californian is principle based–no tracking of calories, but living by some simple hard-and-fast-rules centered around clean eating.

The New Yorker is based on If It Fits Your Macros, or tracking your calories and your protein/fats/carbs breakdown. Calorie deficit if you’re looking to lose lbs in this process.
